Ingredients

  • 400 g Pokka Reindeer

  • 4 small artisan pitas or flatbreads

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Yogurt Sauce
  • 200 g Greek yogurt

  • 1 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

  • 1 garlic clove, crushed

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper to taste

  • Toppings
  • ½ cucumber, thinly sliced

  • ½ red onion, thinly sliced into rings

  • 1 tomato, sliced

Directions

  • Prepare the Yogurt Sauce:
    Combine all the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Let it rest in the refrigerator to develop flavor.
  • Cook the Reindeer Meat:
    Sauté the reindeer in a lightly oiled pan for about 3–4 minutes per side.
  • Warm the Breads:
    Toast the pitas or flatbreads gently until warm and pliable.
  • Assemble the Pitas:
    Open each pita, add the sautéed reindeer, and spoon over some yogurt sauce. Garnish with cucumber, onion, and tomato slices.
  • Serve immediately, preferably on a warm plate.
